At Be Better Sleep we understand that quality sleep is the cornerstone of a healthy and fulfilling life. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to help people breathe better, sleep soundly, and wake up refreshed. We found that MANY people suffer from sleep disturbances caused by open-mouth breathing, snoring, or even just oral health concerns caused by the way you are breathing, and we knew there had to be a better solution.
Drawing on the latest research in sleep science, we designed our premium unisex chin straps to be comfortable, effective, and easy to use. our products are meticulously crafted with high-quality materials, ensuring they’re soft against the skin and durable enough to withstand nightly use and all climates. We’re committed to helping you achieve the restful sleep you deserve, so you can greet each day with energy and enthusiasm.
which size is right for me?
The chin straps are available in two sizes: Regular and Large.
If your head size measurement is between 46-55cm opt for the regular fit.
If your head size is 55-66cm opt for the large fit (most common size).
Please Note: fit may differ depending on your facial shape and structure.
Prepare a Soft MeasuringTape
Use a flexible, soft measuring tape for accurate measurement.
Position the Tape
Start by placing the measuring tape just below your chin. Wrap the tape around the sides of your face, going just in front of your ears.
Complete the Measurement
Bring the tape up and around the top of your head, right where the chin strap would sit.
Preparation
Preparation
- Ensure your face is clean and dry before applying the chin strap.
- Choose a comfortable position, either sitting or standing, in front of a mirror.
Positioning the Chin Strap
Positioning the Chin Strap
- The strap that seals at the top of the head is the longer of the two straps. Once you have determined this then hold the chin strap so that the silicone mold is positioned under your chin.
Securing the Strap
Securing the Strap
- Pull ends of the longer strap up towards the top of your head and seal them together so they adhere to each other.
- Then repeat this process with the shorter straps behind your head, making sure the strap covers the sides of your face and sits snugly around the ears.
- Adjust the tightness of the strap using the Velcro, ensuring it's snug but not too right. The goal is to keep your mouth gently closed without causing discomfort.
Final Adjustments
Final Adjustments
- Check the strap in the mirror to ensure it’s properly aligned and comfortably positioned.
- Make any final adjustments to the tightness to ensure it stays in place throughout the night.
Sleep apnea Awareness
Awareness around sleep apnea is extremely important because untreated sleep apnea can lead to serious health problems like high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Early detection and treatment can significantly improve quality of life and overall health.
The Be Better Sleep Chin Strap has been designed for those that use a nasal sleep apnea CPAP mask.
It helps the user breathe through the nose to prevent leakage and to make your therapy more effective. It also helps avoid associated problems such as a dry mouth.
Expertly crafted for comfort and effectiveness. Unlike fabric chin straps that slide off your face in the night, we have designed this chin strap to mould to your facial shape and stay on all night, improving the effectiveness of your CPAP therapy.
